| Is there a way to assign an M3U or PLS playlist to a given button? So that each time it's clicked, it plays the next audio file in the playlist?
This would be exceptionally useful for our station; we have a professional sportscaster but it's just one guy running the whole show. There isn't even an engineer at the studio - he dials in with his cellphone and remotely puts himself on the air. (we couldn't get students to reliably serve as in-studio engineers) Since he's trying the call the game, keep track of stats, and engineer his own breaks via a little netbook he brings with him, we try to make it as dirt-simple as possible for him to do the breaks. Jazler show seems to accomplish a lot of that, but it'd be perfect if we could do playlists because then we could have one button that would be assigned to always play a promo for a given show...but it'd play a different one of 5-10 different promos for that show each time the button was clicked. Or a different 20-30 second instrumental music bed for the transition between the break ending and the play-by-play starting.
If this is an MS Access issue, we can afford to pay someone to jiffy up some code if needed.
Or is this a feature on one of the pay-for versions of Jazler? |
