First of all, make sure that you have the Artist Name and Surname exactly the same in all songs. Even a space could cause artist separation to fail. Artist separation is case sensitive. Michael Jackson and Michael jackson are different artists in the Jazler artist blocker. Be sure that you have enough different artists for the blocking time specified in the general properties of Jazler. If you have blocking time at 30 minutes, you need at least 20 different artists.

If artist blocking continues to fail then check out the date format of windows. The short date format must be either dd/mm/yyyy or d/m/ yyyy or mm/ dd/yyyy or m/d/ yyyy and time format at hh:mm . Under NO circumstance you must not have the dot (.) as a date separator.

Yes. Jazler RS2 can import commercial playlists. Older versions of Jazler cannot.

Yes. RS2 Supports this function. Older versions of Jazler (Simplepack) do not. Simplepack can switch automatically from local (hard disk) to re-broadcast mode only in half-hour steps. ( ex . 10:00 - 10:30 or 10:00 - 12:00).

Yes. Everybody receives the full package of Jazler RS2 that is an Installation CD and HASP keys. Jazler Simplepack, Cafe+ and Jazler24 are only downloadable and we do not send any copy via normal mail or courier services.

Yes. You must enable though the MP3 VBR Accuracy checkbox on the RS2 playback screen in the General Properties.

As long as it is smaller than the intro time of the songs related to it. Ex. If in your Rock songs, the biggest intro time is 14 sec, then the biggest sweeper must be 13.9 sec. If the sweeper placement on RS2 is at the start of the song, end or transition between songs, it will always play.

First of all, check out if you have set the proper output card in Jazler general properties/playback. If the problem continues then it is very serious. Some other program might have installed a codec (audio decoder) that is not compatible with Jazler. Usually there is no quick solution because even if you uninstall the program, the uninstaller might not uninstall the codecs , so you have to remove them yourself.

Most people that have this kind of problem, have installed Nero Burning application. The quickest solution is to go to Program Files\Common Files\Ahead and rename the folder
” DSFilters ” to something else. We recommend you do not delete it in case that you damage Nero. Restart your computer and try again.

Some Stargate coders have factory settings of 19200 baud. Jazler sends the data at 9600. Please consult the Stargate guide on how to change the baud rate from the switches at the back of the coder.

Some other program has probably installed an older version of this file. We suggest you reinstall Jazler. When you activate the setup, please select the “repair” option.

Check out the Date and time settings of both computers. The problem is focused in this area because the workstation computer has different date settings than the studio computer. Example: If you make a playlist on the workstation, the Date/Time of broadcast list will be something like 5/2/2004. BUT if you make it in your STUDIO computer, the date will be 05/02/2004. Both computers must have an identical way of storing the dates because it will not be able to recognize them.

This problem is usually solved if you go to the "Regional & Language Options" in the control panel and then click the "Customize" button and then go the date tab and make sure that the short date format is d/M/ yyyy and the date separator is /

( for American regions it is M/d/ yyyy )

The time format is usally the same, but just be sure it is h :mm:ss tt

No. Every time you format your computer or change the C drive, you have to re-enter a new code. Please contact Jazler sales dept to obtain a hardware key (cost 100 euros) that will permanently unlock your copy.

Jazler cannot play these files. All files used by Jazler must be license free.

At the control panel > Songs go to the Mass change of song categories. Select the categories you want and select the delete checkbox. Then press the “Convert Now” button. Jazler will also ask you if you want to delete the actual audio files too.

Jazler cannot broadcast to the internet. You have to install a program that does this, like Windows Media Encoder – Media Server, or SimpleCast etc. Be sure though that this program can capture from the source selected in the Windows Mixer (Recording). The best is "What U Hear / Stereo Mix / Wave"

To make a spot play different days in different hours, you have to copy the spot in different days. I will describe the way you say that you want to do with the spot you asked:

Add a new spot in the spots database and fill out all proper boxes (Ad company , dates, categories & priorities).

Then go to the broadcast times section and set the times for Monday to whednesday and uncheck the days Thursday to Sunday.

Leave the spot and go to the main adds screen. Click once on the spot again and press the COPY button on the left. Near the preview audio bar.

In the copy of this spot, go and check the other days and uncheck the days you had checked and input the new times.

This is because you installed an illegal crack on Jazler. These problems are reported by most users that downloaded and installed a crack on Jazler.

We are very disappointed to hear that users are trying to work our program illegally. This makes us more cautious and gives us fewer reasons to improve it. Please support our software so we can continue developing it into better versions.

As for the problem that occurred to you, this is irreversible. Even if you uninstall and install the program again, it will continue to malfunction because the crack has damaged registry entries and certain files associated with Jazler. You will have to format your hard disk so you can re-install a clean healthy copy of Jazler.

Some other program installed a newer or older version of this file. The only way to fix this is: Close all audio programs and go to Windows\System32 folder and delete the file EQPRO.OCX , then re-install Jazler. Choose the repair option.

This problem might be caused because you are using a very cheap audio card or you need updated drivers for this audio card.

A good and cheap solution is all cards from Creative (SoundBlaster series). If you want to have professional quality, then we recommend M-Audio Delta 66 or generally all M-Audio cards. The Delta series though DOES NOT SUPPORT THE REBROADCAST FEATURE on SIMPLEPACK. The rebroadcast feature is supported only on audio cards that have are compatible with the Wndows mixer and do not have their own. Jazler RADIOSTAR supports rebroadcast on virtually ALL soundcards.

After the last day, Jazler will inform you that the evaluation period has expired and will close. The next time you open the program, it will open in workstation mode. You will not lose anything from the database and you will be able to re-enable the studio in case that you purchase an unlock code.

Only when a new playlist is activated. If you activate or program a two hour playlist at 10:00 and program a new playlist at 11:00, then the second hour of the first playlist will be lost. Playlists are not overridden by auto-program. Jazler will wait until the playlist ends and then will start selecting its own tracks again.
